About Us

BugOut SA is a 100% Port Elizabeth owned and operated, family business. We
specialise in helping fellow South African families be prepared for storms
and emergency situations such as prolonged power outages, natural disasters
or man-made incidents. We are associated with proud industry brands and
individuals with extensive experience in law enforcement, Emergency Medical
Technicians (EMT’s), Adventurers, Hikers and extremely interesting
individuals.

We are constantly taking the time to test every product we sell to ensure it
meets our stringent safety and reliability standards. We have picked the
most useful and effective products available to us and combined them into
useful and portable kits that can be easily stored and retrieved when they
are needed. As parents and grandparents we understand that the most precious
ones are the littlest ones and ensure that all the products we sell are safe
for use around young children and we include items to make difficult times
less stressful for you and your family.

If you are just starting out setting up your first home emergency kit or are
an experienced survivalist/prepper we have products to suit most
requirements. If you are looking for a particular emergency or survival
